I have always asked, and have always been allowed to say names of Iraqis who have lost their lives as well. Of course it would take days to read all those names, so many have suffered & died.

I know this is painful, and a bit of a shock to have to keep on scrolling & scrolling through all the names of the deceased.

I am trying to make a point.
This is a *FRACTION* of those killed in this "war".

I think it has dragged on for so long, and we've had such a media blackout of "real news" from Iraq,
that people have become desensitized.

I was thinking if there was one teardrop for each name of all the deceased, we would have an ocean of sorrow.
Fathers, Brothers, Sons, Daughters & Mothers,
Husbands, Wives, all of them.
So many died. Nobody won.Franhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14198689517878201943noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3882537619389851611.post-69727939325024446282009-03-12T04:13:00.000-07:002009-03-12T04:13:00.000-07:00The hard thing to do is to actually read the names...The hard thing to do is to actually read the names, out loud, one at a time, and think for a moment of the life lost and the lives changed forever. Each a human being, each with a history. All lost because we, as a society, and as a people, allow war.

One good thing in the news yesterday. President Obama has signed into law a bill that bans the exportation of cluster bombs from the USA. The next step is a total ban on their manufacture.

Peace.Spadomanhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17781369901345409341noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3882537619389851611.post-24051680792671147402009-03-11T00:22:00.000-07:002009-03-11T00:22:00.000-07:00Have we had enough? Just because Bush had wars, does not mean Obama needs to continue. Shifting a war from one country to another does not constitute change.

These are Obama's wars to STOP now.
They are the Bush administration's errors to desist.

WAR IS OVER - if you want it (John Lennon).Franhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14198689517878201943noreply@blogger.com
