We are nowhere near the top 1 %, in fact one of us is in the unemployment line. That employer "shat" on 2,200 workers re healthcare.... shut it down the day the filed for bankruptcy, without bothering to give the workers notice.
A lot of communities have not quite felt the hit of this economy....for a few years the county I live in mostly held it's own, but then the bubble burst & a few major - family wage job employers went out of business & the spin of it started the unraveling.
Hard to watch happen.
Ethics..... almost seems like a relic of the past--- it's been so dog eat dog.Franhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14198689517878201943noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3882537619389851611.post-30072859818763461992009-05-15T15:59:00.000-07:002009-05-15T15:59:00.000-07:00It's going to be a rough road for all of us. These modern Robber Barons were every bit as good at ruining the economy as their 1930's predecessors. When will we have a national sense of ethics that lasts more than an election cycle?Utah Savagehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16385093247915560752noreply@blogger.com
