Tired of gas prices?

Average cost of gas in Oregon $4.25 & has been for many months.
Maybe the Amish are ahead of the game?

hmmm ... what did the horse need at the gas station ... maybe he was there to make a deposit?

Regular is down to $3.61 a gallon up here. Oh, rejoice!

I saw today that the 2013 Honda Fit EV gets 118MPG. I love my SUV (so does Jim and our dog, Jake) but, I am thinking it may be time to trade it in for a Honda Fit.

christopher I took the online honda FIT EV test but apparently I am not a good fit, or it is unfit ... not avail in UT or NV (2 states I drive most) and not useful for driving more than 50 miles which is necessary in these wide open areas. now if I needed a separate car for around town, and if it was avail here, I'd compare it against the Nissan Leaf which is leaving people stranded all over our freeways. So far, only hybrids are able to satisfy regular demand for more than 50miles and I have to say, I have a problem with buying something to save $$$ on gas knowing I'll be losing at least that am't of gas savings for a new batt (from china)in 5-8 yrs. I had high hopes for the Volt but not interested in an exploding car, especially one I can't see out of, front or rear, due to poor design.

Loved the juxtaposition of the horse & buggy V Exxon gas station....
Gas here is more like 4.33 and up. Our congressman see gas @ 3 & changfe in the east so launched an inestigation as to why the west coast is getting ripped off.
The reason/excuse is a refinery fire.
Funny prices are now going down.... but we are so much higher.... it is quite a rip off.

The gvmnt keeps pushing back when better mpg standards must be improved.
