Disheartened, but not surprised to read that President Obama is "backing off" of any new gun

legislation regarding assault rifles.  More important to not rock any boats or make any waves in an election year, or the 4 years following, should he be re-elected. The death toll & body count rises. 

Sorry, but this is a golden opportunity to have this discussion and do something about it. 

Much easier to fly flags @ half mast & make a speech that the

 general public should not have access to assault rifles.
