remembering

Last year, around this time, my Aunt Gloria Passed away. Our families had been very close, and I flew back to be with family, and pay my respects to her. This photo was in one of the last e mails she sent me, so it is special to me. Aunt Gloria had a great sense of humor, and I miss her. She lived to the ripe old age of 85.
She played the piano~ this music tribute is for her....

  2. Loss is such a difficult thing to cope with. They tell us it gets better in time -- I think we just end up incorporating the loss into our lives. It's always there.

  3. I also had a wonderful Aunt who passed away at age 94. She was an inspiration and mentor to me. Pachabel is a great tribute to all our departed elders.

  5. Her sons got her a headstone etched with a piano & a beautiful Celtic design cross on it.
She lived a full life & independently, as she wanted to, and that is a blessing.
