State of Affairs

I gotta say, the Hope & Change factor is fading quickly.
You got the blues over all this craziness too?

I begin to worry when so many people, politicians, news heads, etc, keep saying, "why Libya and not Syria, Yemen, Bahrain, etc" ... because I fear if we keep asking that question, before we know it, we'll be bombing those places, too!

I notice the pattern as we pick & choose wars & the coincidence they have lots of oil & the first thing they do is *secure the oil fields*, in these alleged humanitarian efforts.
It always takes longer & costs more & is much more complicated than they originally thought.
Plus they assure no boots on the ground & before that ink is even dry in the page, turns out we already have CIA boots on the ground.

Maybe we should just declare Mission Accomplished?

I'm cynical about it all. It is hard to watch our country hit rock bottom & next to watch the GOP slice & dice all programs that help people w essential services, while military budgets & super sophisticated bombs seem to have unlimited funding, while the basics here @ home go unfunded. '

$600 million spent in 6 days.

Enough already!
