i have never gone shopping on black friday, and i usually make fun of those who do. however, i picked out a desk and file cabinet at staples, and then i found a leaked black friday ad that said all regular-priced furniture will be 30% off. that means i'll save almost 80 bucks. even more if i decide to get a bookcase that matches. luckily, that sale is all day, so i don't have to camp out at 4 in the morning.
Black Friday sucks. Some stores are doing the sale pricing online. No effing way I'm camping out in line to be a part of a stampede (this ad is soooo funny, mocking all the gimmicks, and condensing the sale down to 12 minutes WITH box knives & freshly mopped & wax floors!).
Temps here just dropped to below freezing & we have a light dusting of snow.
never done the B.F. shopping thing. crowds of people in the first contagious stages of flu, breathing-coughing-sneezing in my vicinity? no thanks.
however last T-Day the hub did some online shopping for a new bigass tv, then went to Best Buy on B.F. when they were wheeling/dealing and got them to match the lowest online price. we just weren't comfortable purchasing that large an electronic item online; we wanted to be able to return it to a physical store no-questions-asked if something wasn't right.
loved the SNL vid! really captured B.F. frenzy (that I am only to happy to let someone else "enjoy")!
