Did somebody say "Job Creators???

Mitt Romney:

The simple choice this fall is between job killers and job creators. Over the next few newsletters, I will expand on this theme with some detailed examples."

Cash on Hand (from Dec. report): $64,716.60

We need to cut taxes on the job creators. This is all about jobs, creating jobs. We have to ramp up industry here in America, and of course reduce the federal debt, quit piling on and growing more. But those common-sense solutions there, especially with the cutting taxes on the job creators, that's not even being discussed. In fact, increased taxes is the direction it sounds like Obama wants to go," she said.

Palin also said it's a tragedy the U.S. isn't more aggressive in developing its own natural energy resources, such as oil and natural gas. ""Drill, Baby, Drill."

Well, I’m here to talk about the Presidency of the United States. As I said again, we’re very proud of our business and we’re proud of all job creators in the United States. That’s what people really care about." (refusing to answer questions about her husband's pray away the gay therapy)

Google "Job Creators" & you will find one politician after another spouting off this new buzzword- in an astounding
 88,300,000 results.

Keep in mind "Job Creators" is a generic term. What republicans mean when they say it, is the desire to rid us of the obstacles- like clean air & water laws that prevent corporations from operating with sloppy practices with toxic chemicals & pollution.
They also define it as allowing employers to pay low wages, and no benefits. If current trends continue, they are fine with union busting, and stripping workers of their right to collective bargaining.
10 years of tax cuts & lets review how this job creator thing is working out for the United States.

Just got a newsletter from our Democrat State Senator, Herb Kohl.
He also mentions job creation and has some real good, (in my mind) ideas about rewarding the small businesses and corportations that actually add jobs, (USA jobs, not outsourced overseas jobs), to our economy. One idea is to give the tax cuts to those that show they created real jobs. Seems like a good idea to me.
By the way, Herb is not running again in 2012, I heard Russ Feingold is back on the trail for that seat, or of the seat that might be vacated by the recalled Nazi governor of Wisco.
Up to our ears in poitcis, recall elections, budget cuts and the rights of the workers here, how you doin'?

As usual, Peace

Who are the real job creators? You and me, the American consumer. The American consumer creates demand. Demand creates jobs. It is that simple. No demand, no jobs.

What do tax cuts for the corporations and wealth do? Create profit. Businesses are doing quite well now. Profits up almost 40% between the 2nd quarter of 2009 to the 1st quarter of 2011. And where are the jobs that those profits are supposed to create, at least according to republicans? NOWHERE, because profits DO NOT create jobs.

Hey Spado~ Wis. is really going through it -- but at least all the nastiness Guv Walker is dishing up w his dirty tricks & back door antics have really energized *the people* to push back.
Way to go WI.

I have lots going on, will fill you in on details later.

Jerry~ It's not even a trickle anymore!
As in this economy & the Afghanistan wars--
if we did not fix the problem in 10 years.... it;s time to do something different.

the only thing that creates jobs is demand, and there can be no demand if people don't have money to spend.
